Hello and thank you for joining me in the exciting new journey of my life. My name is Jackie, I'm a 26 year old mother of 2 wonderful boys. I have a 2 year old Jaxon and a 4 month old Jaymason. We live in Huntington Beach, California at the moment. This is my first time making a blog but I'm excited to share my journey with everyone!
After I had my first son Jaxon I was filled with so much love and joy. When he was just a few months old I started thinking about giving this joy to someone else. I asked my boyfriend many times if he would be ok with me becoming a surrogate and each time he would say no, which I totally understood! I'm not best pregnant woman lol! But after we had our second son I started looking more deeper into it and getting him more informed information about it. After months of talking and explaining the joy it would give another family, he finally agreed. So I then applied at Creative Family Connections.
I applied and filled out all their questions on Friday. On Saturday I got an email from Ruthi who said she looked at my application and wanted to meet me on Monday! She just happened to be in town meeting two other potential surrogates! So we agreed to have her come by my house on Monday, meet my family and do my initial interview. I was over the moon with excitement but also so scared that it happened so very quickly! So a few days later I got the news that my in home was approved and they wanted to move forward with me. I couldn't believe it! After two years of wanting to become a surrogate, and now in just four days I applied and was interviewed and approved! Then I started to get so nervous, it's all happening so quick!
About a week after my approval I got another email from the agency saying they have a potential match for me!! Omg already!?!? I'm still breastfeeding my youngest son and I'm not 6 months post partum yet! So this is where I am now. I have learned a little about the potential family, I know they are international and own a hotel chain. They want twins but since I do not want to carry twins they are looking to have two surrogates carry almost at the same time. I am so excited to learn more about this potential family! I wish they were local so we could develop a close relationship but I hear it's rare to find someone in your area. But from what I am told they want to be as involved in everything as they can which is what I am wanting!
